- To be honest, Cydia Installer is terrible. The interface is nowhere near as good as Installer. Most jailbreakers are just waiting for Installer 4.0 to come out instead of wasting their time with Cydia. Installer 4 is nearing completion. It will now be released to the major repository owners so that they can get their apps compatible with firmware version 2.0 fast.
- Installer 4 will be released to be public in a few days. It has not yet been disclosed how Installer will be available. There are three options: Installer option in PWNAGE, Installer available as application download through Cydia or Installer avaiable as stand-alone download, either direct to iTouch or iPhone via Mobile Safari or available for SSHing manually.
